[FRESH!] 4/28/2023 update

Woah it's been a month already?!

3/27/2023 update

All of the basics have been programmed! After a few finishing touches, the demo will be ready to be played by a few play testers.

When the demo is complete, it will be publicly available. The whole game is going to be a lot bigger than I initially thought, so you may have to wait through a few seasons before it's ready!

3/15/2023 update

Movement, collision, textboxes, inventory and basics of the cutscene systems are completed! The main character can now move, interact with signs and pick up items from chests! Instead of making a separate sprite for open chests, I made it so that they vanish when they're opened from the front. I can already build puzzles with this...

All that's left for the completion of the playable demo is the completion of a cutscene, the implementation of a shop system and the basic turn-based battle system. 

The shop will allows players to interact with a mysterious character. He's short, mostly black and white and his name ends with "-ton"

Hopefully, you'll get to play it before Summer 2023.

3/6/2023 update

The movement, collision and textbox systems have been implemented! I am looking to work on the inventory system next. I am using GameMaker Studio 2 to make this game.

What's the game like anyway? you may be asking. It's a top down view RPG with 4 areas! The music has been composed by me, I hope you like it. Hopefully you'll get to play a demo by the end of the year. I believe you'll enjoy one of the characters I've added in here.
